To View a Description (Help Display) of Each Scene

Select a scene and move the zoom control (

A1) toward g (j) to view a

description of that scene. To return to the original screen, move the zoom
control toward

g (j) again.

Tips and Notes

• When you point the camera at the subject, the camera automatically selects

the optimum scene mode from the list below and adjusts the shooting
settings accordingly.

• The focus area depends on the composition of the image. When the camera

detects a human face, it focuses on that face (

A69).

• In some shooting conditions, the camera may not select the appropriate

scene mode that you intended. If this happens, switch to A (auto) mode or
select the scene mode that you want to use when taking images (

A22).
